A personal hostel
Castanea is a small personal hostel, located at one of The Old Towns narrow and cobble stoned streets. With a beautiful horse chestnut tree at a small square just outside. We have 55 beds, in single rooms, twin rooms, 4- and 6-bedded rooms and one dormitory. We have a kitchen for your own cooking. Showers and toilettes in the corridor.
Sheets and towels could be hired for €7 – or you can bring your own. Sleeping bags are not allowed due to hygiene reasons.
Free wireless Internet for guests that bring their own computer (not in all rooms).
In Castanea smoking is not allowed, nor is animals. Open all year.
Welcome to check in 15.00-18.00. For arrivals after 18.00 please contact us at least two days before by telephone or e-mail.
